Motorola’s Moto G announcement is going down and the company is making no bones about wanting to produce a smartphone that is affordable while providing a premium experience. Motorola has done exactly that and there’s little question they are making some aggressive moves that dare I say will be called…”game-changing.”

Motorola’s Moto G features a “premium experience at less than 1/3 the price of high-end phones and outperforms most of those devices” according to Moto CEO Dennis Woodside. Well, Dennis’ company is putting its money where its ahem…mouth is with some ridiculously aggressive pricing.

The Moto G features a 4.5″ 720p edge-to-edge display with 329ppi and corning gorilla glass, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, all day battery life with 33% more talk-time than the iPhone 5s, Android 4.3 at launch with “guarantee” of Android 4.4 KitKat in the future.

So, if none of this has grabbed your attention than the price surely will as Motorola’s aggressive pricing will offer the 8GB Moto G on Motorola’s website for $179 sim-unlocked. Crazy, right? How about the 16GB model for $199. Yeah…aggressive.
