What’s your favorite Chrome, Android, Google app of 2013?

As December continues to tick away and as we look back at 2013, I’m about to cleanse my smartphones (plural) and kick out all the apps I haven’t touched in months. There’s little question that this year has been chalk-full of all-star apps and even some duds. It’s tough to narrow down all my favorites of the year especially when you factor in some app updates that made at least one or two of my favorite apps jump from the second or third page right up to my first page of apps.

I think it’s safe to say this year my favorite app on Android is easily Circa. I’ve been using this app on iOS since late 2012 but with the release on Android it deserves far more than its 50,000+ downloads. The app launched on October 25th and has a 4.6 rating as of this writing and is easily one of the best ways to consume news without having to read full-length articles. Circa condenses news and makes it easier-to-read thanks to its own team of editors and journalists. If you want to catch up on news quickly, Circa is the way to do it.

I’ve told you mine, now you tell me yours…what’s your most used or favorite app release of 2013?
