Twitter tipster shows image of Sprint-destined LG G Flex

The LG G Flex, the curved body and “self-healing” device out of the Korean folks at LG is destined for Sprint. This info comes courtesy of famed Twitter tipster @evleaks who discovered the image and posted it online early this morning.

Other than the LS995 model number, @evleaks wasn’t able to provide any information as to when this would arrive on Sprint or at what price. The device itself is still something of an anomaly in the wireless industry given its unique form factor and “self-healing” body.

For the most part, the curved screen still appears to show itself as more of a prototype rather than a screen ready for prime-time. A number of reviews rounded up earlier this month indicate that while the device is unique, there’s nothing earth-shattering about its form factor. However, there are some legitimate benefits to a curved display and it’s likely we’ll see more models in the future but for now, it’s still something we’re suggesting as a “wait and see” approach.
