Check out these slick watch face entries for Motorola’s Moto 360 giveaway (gallery)

Motorola announced a contest earlier this week asking the community to submit watch face concepts for a chance to win a Moto 360 smartwatch. Well, now the contest is udnerway, and the Moto 360 Design Face-Off community on Google+ is blowing up with submissions. Head past the break for some of the best we’ve seen so far …

The designs submitted so far have varied widely in concept, with some shown putting Motorola’s brand front-and-center, and others removing so much that using the face would mean you don’t even have numbers to tell the time. Some have ditched the traditional round 3-hands design, and even others have had to use a GIF to truly capture the essence of their idea.

Below you’ll find a quick gallery of some of my favorite submissions, and hovering over them you’ll see the names of those who designed them. If you want to give these creators your support, head over to the submission group and give them sum plusses. That said, Motorola has said in the official rules that winners will be determined by an official vote of some kind (and not by the number of shares/plusses in the submission group).

And if you think you can do a better job than any of the entries you see below, I’d say you should probably enter. I may have missed a few, but these are definitely some of the best as of yet.
