Instagram for Android Wear mocked up on Moto 360 smartwatch

Let’s be clear off the top: there is no Instagram for Android Wear. At least, not yet. But if you are curious what it might look like, interaction designer Aleksandar Nikcevic has created a beautiful mockup of what could be Instagram for Android Wear on a Moto 360 smartwatch.

The conceptual user interface includes a welcome screen, photos with the ability to like and comment, user profiles with scrollable pictures, individual user statistics and the ability to track who has commented or liked your personal photos.

The one notable flaw in this concept is that it does not account for the proximity sensor and display drivers that are located at the bottom of the screen. If you have ever seen a Moto 360 in action, you probably know that the smartwatch has a small black area at the bottom of the screen to provide space for those internal components. This concept does not.
