Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 coming to AT&T on October 24th for $150 on a two year contract

AT&T announced today that it will offer the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 on October 24th for $475 outright or $150 on a two year service commitment. If you think that’s too much upfront cash, you can also purchase the device through AT&T Next for no money down at $19.80 per month (24 months) or $23.75 a month for a shorter term (20 months).

Not to be confused with Samsung’s flagship big phone, the Mega 2’s specs are almost minor. The handset packs a 6-inch HD display, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a  2,800mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. If you’re comfortable making monthly payments, you can buy a Galaxy Note 4 from Ma Bell for about $10 more a month. However, if you’re on a tight budget and really want a device with a big screen, Samsung’s next, next big thing goes on sale this Friday.
