LG G4 micro site surfaces with full device renderings, listed features, and more

Apparently, LG may have slipped up and left a trail to a new G4 micro site (removed by LG) embedded within the source code of an official teaser page. The site showcases full renderings, marketing material, and more of LG’s upcoming G4 smartphone…

The site provides detailed information about LG’s upcoming flagship. The specifications shown on the site are the G3’s (given away by the Android 4.4.2 mention and the camera specs), but it’s likely that some of those are just a placeholder for the real deal upon announcement. This micro site could be under construction at the moment, but what’s even more interesting is how it was discovered. Apparently, LG’s source code on this page had a URL string which at its base URL directs to the micro site. See the source code and URL highlighted in the image below.

Upon visiting that URL, you’re directed to a nearly put together micro site revealing full renderings, 360 views, features, and everything else you’d like to know. It’s possible that this was a mistake on LG’s behalf, but considering how many teasers we’ve seen lately it could also be very intentional.

As mentioned, the specifications page on the micro site listed below seems to have most of the LG’s G3 smartphone specifications in place, but all other renderings and features seem to be accurate. Though, there’s no way to be 100 percent sure until LG’s official revealing on April 28, 2015.

The site lists a lot of the teased features we’ve seen over the last couple of weeks including a 5.5-inch QHD IPS Quantum Display, improved f1.8 16-megapixel camera, leather backing design (for most models), a thickness of 8.9mm, removable 3,000 mAh battery, and SD card slot. There is a lot of information listed.

Here are some snippets of test from the site:

The site can be seen using the link below (it may be taken down at some point). We’ve included a gallery with screenshots of the site just in case it’s removed. As mentioned, we’ll be at LG’s April 28 press event to cover the official revealing. Stay tuned for our coverage.

Update: It looks like the site was taken down, but the source code remains the same. More evidence that it was the real deal.
