Carrier Availability: Where to buy the LG G5 in the US

Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be hitting US carriers much sooner than the LG G5. While AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint have all announced they will carry the LG G5 and its accompanying accessories, there is not a set availability or pre-order date among the carriers. The best hint of when LG’s latest flagship device will be available comes from Best Buy.

AT&T

AT&T only cites a vague availability date of “in the coming weeks” for the LG G5. Their press release specifically mentions that the accessories like the LG CAM Plus camera grip, 360 CAM virtual reality camera, 360 VR headset, and 360 Sound Bluetooth speaker will be available from AT&T. Pricing will be announced soon.

Verizon

Verizon’s release date is much less specific, citing a Spring availability for the LG G5 and its companion device modules. However, the carrier does mention they’ll be offering the device in the Silver and Titan colors.

Sprint

Sprint only makes reference to offering LG 360 CAM and LG Tone Platinum Bluetooth headset, in addition to the G5.

T-Mobile

The nation’s fourth major carrier has yet to announce any details, but presumably they will sell LG’s latest flagship device as they are selling Samsung’s.

Best Buy

The most specific dates we have for when LG’s latest flagship device will arrive comes from Best Buy. A landing page lists a March 18th pre-order date and an expected release of April 1.
