As you may expect, the update doesn’t do anything but essentially brick your device, by preventing it from charging and thus avoiding the potential outcomes we’ve all unfortunately come familiar with.
While carriers are often blasted for their slow pace in dealing with updates, it’s good to see that when the very safety of people is at stake, promises are kept with no delays.
