It’s on us! Google Wallet team hits the streets to get user reactions

The Google Wallet team hit the streets of NYC and San Francisco to give the public a bit of hands on time with the mobile payment system that launched exclusively to Nexus S 4G users last month.

As you can see in the video, the service works with MasterCard PayPass terminals, but Discover, American Express, and Visa are all working with Google to get their NFC specifications baked into a future release. Reactions in the video, mostly from users that probably haven’t seen the tech before, seem to be pretty positive. We’ll be looking for the service to roll out to more devices in 2012 as new supported hardware hits the market.
