Panasonic announces $1300 ToughPad, that you can drop to your heart’s desire

Panasonic has announced two new ToughPad tablets this evening, weighing in at both a 7-inch (A1) and 10-inch (B1) model. With the ToughPad name, the tablets are designed to withstand physical abuse outdoors. Spec wise the device features Android 3.2, a 1.2 GHz processor, LTE, 16 or 32 GB of storage, 7-inch or 10-inch screen, 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera, and 2-megapixel front camera.

The A1 is launching in Spring of 2012 for $1300, while the B1 is launching around the same time for an unknown price. Looks like we have to wait awhile, but it might totally worth it for some awesome drop tests!
