Ubisoft unveiled the above teaser for the critically acclaimed “From Dust” videogame by Creative Designer Eric Chahi and announced it is coming to the Google Chrome browser next month.

“Chrome users will be able to play a High-End console game within their very own Google Chrome browser,” contended Ubisoft, the game’s developer.

More information is available below.

Ubisoft’s From Dust website describes the videogame as a “Modern God Game Where Nature is the Star.” The developer invites gamers to immerse themselves in an exotic and beautiful world while controlling the destiny of a primitive tribe.

Key highlights include advanced real-time nature simulations, a unique art direction featuring a large variety of environments, and a rich story mode with 12 territories of emergent gameplay. Users can protect their tribe against nature’s whims with Godlike powers as they race against the clock. Moreover, 30 extra maps in Challenge mode each feature distinct scenarios with a puzzle-like challenge. Online Leaderboards are also available for comparing Challenge mode scores.

“From Dust” becomes available for install on the Chrome Web Store in April 2012.

The Chrome Web Store is an online marketplace with thousands of apps, extensions, and themes for the Chrome browser. Visit the marketplace or click the store icon in Chrome’s New Tab page to explore its varied content.
