Google updates Admin console with improved navigation, customization, access, and more

Google introduced an update today to its Google Admin console for managers of Google Apps like Gmail, Calendar, and the like.

Businesses, governments, and schools should appreciate the changes to Google’s admin console.

The new features include improved navigation, more customization, and a more accessible domain.

Admins of Google Apps can now access the console simply by visiting admin.google.com rather than typing out the lengthier google.com/a/domain.com or searching for the correct domain.

Users can customize the admin console now by dragging and dropping the important controls or removing the unneeded features.

Google also says admins can accomplish tasks faster now with new logical groupings that provide easier task delegation.

Admins will see these changes rolled out over the next few weeks.
