Fleksy brings its hilariously small predictive keyboard to the Gear 2

Fleksy, the makers of the ‘smart’ predicting custom keyboard, are bringing their technology to the Samsung Gear 2. Fleksy says they are the first custom keyboard developer to integrate with the Gear 2 to enable sending and responding text messages, at a microscopic scale.

With a hilariously small button layout, it’s hard to believe that input will be anywhere near accurate enough for real use.

However, the company seems confident that it will work well. They say their prediction engine is good enough to make up for the fat-fingered errors.

“Fleksy’s patent-pending technology is uniquely positioned for wearable devices,” said Ioannis Verdelis, COO of Fleksy. “Fleksy allows user to accurately type on any device, regardless of size, and we are very excited to work with Samsung to finally bring this unique technology to the Gear 2.0.”

The announcement means that the Fleksy keyboard is now available for wearables as well as Android tablets and phones, starting with Samsung’s Gear 2. Incidentally, the company opened up its SDK for iOS apps last week.
