Purported Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 press renders look like a really big Galaxy S5

We’ve heard about it, now we’re seeing it. Pictured above are a set of alleged press renders for Samsung’s unannounced Galaxy Tab S 8.4 tablet. Obtained by @evleaks, this new slab kind of resembles a larger Galaxy S5, but is rumored to be a full-blown tablet. Samsung already has a giant tablet-like device that places phone calls.

Although its specs are unconfirmed at this time, it’s been reported that the Galaxy Tab S8.4 will feature an 8.4-inch 2,560 × 1,600 AMOLED display, an Exynos 5 Octa processor, 3GB of RAM, an IR blaster, an 8-megapixel rear-facing shooter, a 2.1 front-facing camera and Android 4.4 KitKat. Like its recently leaked counterpart, this new device appears to have a small pair of nubs on its backside that are rumored to connect Samsung’s new proprietary flip cover for the company’s new product line. While we appreciate the visual stimulation, a release date for this unannounced tablet remains a mystery, so we’ll just have to wait and see what Samsung says on June 12th.
