Previously pictured Samsung Galaxy Alpha gets shown off in white

We’ve seen our fair share of Samsung Galaxy Alpha rumors, and it looks to be the handset that the Korean company is prepping to take the lead in the upcoming battle of next-generation of flagship smartphones. We’ve seen it pictured plenty of times now, but this is the first time we’ve seen it in white.

Straying from the plastic form of the Galaxy S line of phones, the Alpha has an all-too-familiar metal bezel, a 720p display, a 12 MP rear-facing camera, and a 2 MP front-facing camera. But other than that, the phone isn’t too far out of line aesthetically from what we’ve seen from Samsung in recent years.

Internally, the device is rumored to sport Samsung’s self-built Exynos 5433 chipset, which at least one benchmark has shown is faster than the Snapdragon 805 seen in most current Android flagships. Previous pictures have shown it to have a removable back cover as is Samsung tradition, but the device is said to ship with non-expandable 32 GB flash storage.
