Android 4.4.4 now available for Boost Mobile’s Moto G

Sprint’s prepaid arm, Boost Mobile is now rolling out Android 4.4.4 to its version of the Moto G. As seen with other handsets, the latest flavor of Google’s mobile operating system patches some security holes related to OpenSSL, while adding the ability to pause and resume video recording.

Boost Moto G owners will also be treated to a redesigned dialer, along with added support for the Motorola Alert app, which lets users share their location with select contacts. If your device hasn’t received an over-the-air system update notification, you can manually initiate the software upgrade by tapping: Settings, About phone, System updates.
