Moto 360 owners are reportedly receiving improved battery life after last week’s software update

The Moto 360 is one of the most attractive Android Wear devices on the market, however owners of Motorola’s new smartwatch have had mixed feelings about its battery life. Last week the company pushed out a new software update that focused on Bluetooth connectivity and bug fixes, with the latter possibly improving the device’s power management.

Some Moto 360 owners are claiming that their device’s battery life has nearly doubled since receiving build number KGW42R. It’s possible that the new software’s bug fixes and optimizations could have improved the smartwatch’s performance, resulting in better battery life, or users could just be experiencing a placebo effect. So far some of us here at 9to5Google have received the update and haven’t noticed any real changes, however if you’re a Moto 360 owner and your device is up to date, be sure to let us know how it’s been performing since taking on the Motorola’s newest firmware.
