Nexus 6 orders from Google Play are starting to ship

If the thought of a carrier-connected Nexus 6 isn’t quite your bag and you’ve managed to place an order with Google, you may want to check your credit card or bank account, because people are starting to get charged for their purchases. In fact, a select lucky few are even starting to see their shipping status updated.

It’s also worth noting that FedEx tracking information is showing orders shipping directly from China instead of the usual Louisville distribution center. Historically, Google has sent most of its Nexus gear from locations within the US and it appears that these new devices are moving from the company’s manufacturing partner directly to consumers.

We’ve reached out to Google for more details regarding how it’s handling Nexus 6 shipments and we’ll be sure to update this article if the company has something to share.
