Android 4.4.4 now available for Sprint’s Galaxy S5

Sprint recently started rolling out Android 4.4.4 to its version of the Samsung Galaxy S5. While it’s not the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, this new software adds some recommended security patches and a few extra carrier-specific goodies like an HD voice icon and international WiFi calling support.

Sprint says this new software will take a few days to reach all of its users, so don’t fret if you haven’t received an update notification yet. But if patience isn’t your strong suit, you can try to manually initiate the update process by tapping Apps > Settings > System Update > Update Now. If the new software is available for your device, you’ll be greeted by a download message. After successfully install the last version of KitKat, your device should display a software build of G900PVPU1ANK4.
