OnePlus One available to purchase without invite starting at $299

After being partially available for several months by invite only, today OnePlus is selling its “flagship killer” smartphone to anyone willing to pay for it. In addition to making its elusive handset available to the public, the startup is having a sale on most of its accessories, reducing their prices by up to 20 percent. For the next 72 hours or while supplies last, you can purchase a 16GB Silk White OnePlus One for $299 or a 64GB Sandstone Black model for just $349.

While we’re glad to see OnePlus finally making its smartphone available to the masses, it’s worth noting that the company says that orders will arrive by December 25th. So if you happen to pony up the cash, don’t expect your new phone right away. If you’re unfamiliar with the OnePlus, some of its highlights include a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with a dual-LED flash.
