samsungs

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ have just been announced and carriers aren’t holding back in letting us know when and where we can get hold of these new devices. The US is going to be one of the first countries to get the latest flagship phablets. Here’s where you can get them and when…

T-Mobile

T-Mobile’s announcement was first to hit our inbox and — as always — the Samsung launch comes alongside some very tempting offers. The Magenta Carrier will start selling the device on launch day, August 21st.

32GB models of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ cost $699 and $779 respectively full retail price.  Customers who pre-register at T-Mobile.com/NextBigThing before August 21st AND then order or buy the the Galaxy S6 Edge+ or Galaxy Note 5 before September 30th will get a year’s free Netflix subscription.

After receiving their new Samsung phone, qualifying customers simply visit SamsungPromotions.com/T-MobileNetflix to get their Netflix promo code redeemable at Netflix.com/SpecialOffers for a $107.88 credit ($8.99 x 12 months) on their new or existing Netflix account.

What’s more, there’s a special promotion for JUMP! on Demand customers too. Customers buying the 32GB Galaxy Note 5 will be able to get it for $0 up front and pay just $25 per month on T-Mo’s new phone lease plan. It’s a similar deal with the 32GB Galaxy S6 Edge+, which is $0 down and $28.50 per month.

AT&T

AT&T has announced that you can order both the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ in store and online at ATT.com from today.  Customers will be able to buy the 32GB or 64GB phones with $0 down on its Next 24, Next 18 and Next 12 plans.

Monthly payments start at $24.67 (32GB on Next 24) and go up to $42 (64GB on Next 12) for the Galaxy Note 5 while it ranges from $27.17 (32GB on Next 24) to $45.75 (64GB on Next 12) for the Galaxy S6 Edge+. Obviously, monthly payments differ depending on which storage option you choose and whether you go for a longer or shorter term Next plan. Customers will also be able to trade-in an eligible smartphone to get at least $200 instant credit or promotion card .

What’s more, existing DirecTV and AT&T U-Verse TV customers who switch their wireless lines will receive $300 credit for every line they port in when purchasing the Galaxy S6 Edge+ or Note 5. Other customers switching carriers will be eligible to receive $100 bill credit and $200 buyback credit when they trade in a smartphone.

Sprint

Sprint pre-orders for the two new phablets kick off today at 3pm Eastern either through Sprint’s website or calling Telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1. It will be offering both 32 and 64Gb storage options of the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. The former will be available in black or white, while the Edge will come in black or gold.

Sprint’s pricing options are something of a confusing mess. You can purchase on Sprint Lease starting at $0 down, with the Note 5 being $25 or $30 per month for the 32GB or 64Gb models respectively. The S6 Edge+ is $5 more each month for the same storage versions. On Sprint Easy Pay it’s a similar story: $0 down, but starting at $30 per month and going up to $34 per month for the Note 5 or $33/$37 for the Edge. On a regular two-year plan it’ll cost you $249 or $349 for the 32/64 Note 5 or $349/$449 for the S6 Edge+. Without a contract, the devices will set you back a cool minimum of $720 and go up to $888.

Like AT&T, customers will be able to claim a minimum of $200 credit when they trade in a working smartphone, and will be able to upgrade early at 12 months. What’s more, there’s a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 thrown in to customers activating a new two year plan.

Verizon

Verizon announced its plans for both smartphones today as well:

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge + and Note5 with Verizon 4G LTE will be available for preorder online beginning 3pm ET. The Galaxy S6 edge + will be available in Black Sapphire (32GB & 64GB) and Gold Platinum (32GB) color models. And the Galaxy Note5 will be available in Black Sapphire (32GB & 64GB) and Pearl White (32GB) color models. As a sneak peak, customers can get a first look at both devices beginning tomorrow, August 14, in participating stores.
