Huawei Nexus to reportedly feature Snapdragon 810 processor, 5.7-inch screen, 4K video

Google is reportedely set to unveil new LG and Huawei Nexus devices on September 29th, but rumors surrounding specifications for the latter of the two devices have been extremely sparse. Now, however, a new set of GFXBenchmark results hint at some supposed details regarding the device…

The device that appeared in the benchmark results carries the name “Huawei Angler” and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device features a 5.7-inch display with a 2560×1440 resolution. The results claim that the Angler features a Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 1.9GHz and parked with an Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM. As far as the camera goes, the Angler supposedly features an 11MP rear-facing camera that is capable of shooting 3840×2160 4K video. The front camera is said to be 7MP and capable of 2592×1944 video.

It’s important to note, however, that benchmark results should often be taken with a grain of salt. They are relatively easy to fake and that’s often done. As far as previously rumored details regarding the Huawei Nexus go, the device is said to feature a USB-C port and a fingerprint sensor.

While not confirmed, the Huawei Nexus is expected to be announced on September 29th alongside a smaller LG-made Nexus device.
