Google’s stock Clock app gets updated w/ new Android Wear features, more

Google has today pushed an iterative update to its stock Clock app, three months after the app was first released on the Play Store and two months after it got a new paint job. Today’s update brings a hefty bullet list of new features, including the ability to gradually increase alarm volume, new Android Wear features, and more…

Besides the ability to gradually increase volume for alarms and timers, the update also brings the ability to choose your favorite timer ringtone, dismiss alarms within the Clock app “preemptively,” and control your timers from a system notification. On the Android Wear side, you’ll get easier alarm management and new interactive notifications.

Here’s the full change log verbatim:

WHAT’S NEW

• Gradually increasing volume for alarms and timers
• Choose your favorite timer ringtone
• Preemptively dismiss alarms within the Clock app
• Control timers from a notification
• Easier alarm and timer management on Android Wear
• Interactive alarm notifications on Android Wear
You can grab the latest version of the Clock app by way of the Google Play Store, or you can grab it right now via APKMirror and install it manually straight from your Android device.
