Matte Gold Nexus 6P available as Google Store and Best Buy exclusive in the US

Besides their flagship Mate 8, Huawei also announced at its CES event that the Nexus 6P’s gold variant is coming to the US. We reported last month that the 6P would be coming to Best Buy as an exclusive. The gold model was initially only available as a Japanese exclusive, before launching in India last month.

During the event, Huawei said its partnership with Google has “been very successful” and that Google is of its most important and creative partners. Initially, the 6P was the more supply constrained Nexus and it was not until last month that retailers like Best Buy started selling the phone.

The Matte Gold 6P is now available for purchase through the Google Store and Best Buy. The 32GB gold model costs $499, while the 64GB is $50 more. Unlike the other 6P colors, there is no 128GB model in gold.
