Samsung’s Good Lock updated with case support, darker colors, and many bug fixes

With frequent updates that take into account consumer feedback, Samsung appears to be fully behind its alternate Good Lock UI. Announced last month, the lock and homescreen replacement has been praised for its close to stock notification shade and interesting UI ideas. Today’s update fixes many bugs and adds more customization options.

With today’s update, the app is now available in the UK, Australia, Canada, and Singapore Galaxy App store. Previously, those outside the US had to download and sideload the APK directly.

Good Lock has a rather bright color palette — especially in the notification shade — and with this update users can select more toned down colors, like black and gray. There are now also toggles for NFC, Power saving mode, Smart view, and Privacy mode. Addressing a big compatibility complaint, the lockscreen finally supports Samsung’s numerous case accessories, including SView, ClearView, and LED.

Other new features include more Recent app style settings, a widget block list, app pinning in Recent, and many more small additions. However, the bulk of this update is for small bug fixes that address not being able to open the quick panel, an unexpected sound during phone calls, and other small errors.

The full changelog is below and users can download Good Lock from Galaxy Apps:
