Samsung’s Batman-themed Galaxy S7 Edge includes a gold plated Batarang

As teased this morning, Samsung is making a Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition in collaboration with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. The Batman-themed device marks the third anniversary of mobile game Injustice: Gods Among Us.

This limited edition device is in deep black with gold accents on the camera hump and flash, fingerprint sensor, and speaker grill. A gold Batman symbol takes the place of the Samsung logo on the back of the phone. Software-wise, TouchWiz features several Batman wallpapers, skinned icons, and a custom phone app. It also comes with $100 of in-game credit for Injustice.

More interesting than the actual phone is what comes in the elaborate packaging. There is a gold-plated Batarang, a phone case in the style of Batman’s armor, and a matching black Gear VR.

The limited edition Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition will be available in early June in select territories, including China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America, and Russia. Pricing is unknown and more countries are coming soon. Injustice: Gods Among Us is a free game available from the Play Store.
