AT&T will offer the rugged Kyocera DuraForce Pro w/ built-in wide view action camera

Last week Kyocera announced the new DuraForce Pro, a mid-range Android smartphone with a rugged design and the world’s first built-in, super wide-angle camera. Today AT&T has announced that it will be carrying the device soon.

AT&T has yet to announce a price point for this device, but we do know the specs. The display is a 5-inch, 1080p, impact-resistant panel with a quad-core Snapdragon processor under the hood. The DuraForce Pro also uses a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. To complement those, the phone also has a built-in super wide-angle camera, similar to something like a GoPro.

The device also packs IP68 water resistance and a Military Standard 810G rating for protection against the elements. It also has a dedicated Push-to-Talk button and a fingerprint sensor embedded within the power button.

Kyocera DuraForce PRO is a rugged 4G LTE-ready1 Android™ smartphone that’s powered by a large battery and built to withstand tough environments. With its IP68 and Military Standard 810G2 certifications, the DuraForce PRO enables you to stay productive even when working around water, dirt, and dust. A wide variety of camera options help you easily capture project details in still photos and video. Designed with AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk (EPTT)3 in mind, you can communicate with your crew with the push of a dedicated side button. And the DuraForce PRO is Android for Work enabled, so you can customize it to meet most any business need.

AT&T will begin offering the DuraForce Pro starting later this fall.
