Today at IFA 2016, alongside the new Android-running Yoga Book, Lenovo announced a brand new Android tablet, the Yoga Tab 3 Plus. This 10.1-inch tablet puts a focus on entertainment, bringing a big, bright 2K display, JBL speakers, special viewing modes, and more.
Nomad case for Pixel 3
The newest addition to the Yoga Tab 3 series brings the complete cinematic entertainment experience to Yoga tablet users at all price points. With many users watching marathon sessions of their favorite TV shows and movies on their tablets wherever they go, the need for a device that offers a high quality audio and visual experience, total flexibility for different environments and a long-lasting battery was clear.
To give users the best experience possible when watching movies or TV shows on their tablet, the Yoga 3 Plus comes with Technicolor Color Enhance technology (previously seen on the Alcatel IDOL 3) to best suit the viewing experience to the content on-screen.
It also packs four front-facing JBL speakers for superior audio quality, and 18 hours of battery from the tablet. This is thanks to the 9,300 mAh battery under the hood which can be recharged quickly with an included 24w fast charger (USB C).
Just like Lenovo’s other Yoga tablets, the Yoga 3 Plus has a kickstand on the rear which allows owners to use the tablet in four different “modes”; stand, tilt, hold, and hang. Lenovo also has “Lenovo Media Cast” pre-loaded on the device, making streaming audio and video to external sources easy.
The Yoga Tab 3 Plus will be available this October for $299.
