Lenovo’s Yoga Book Android tablet ships October 17th, pre-orders open now

Following its announcement at IFA 2016, Lenovo has officially opened up pre-orders for the Yoga Book. For now pre-orders are only available via Lenovo’s website with shipments kicking off on October 17th.

The Yoga Book brings a 10.1-inch IPS display on one side with another touch-sensitive panel attached with a hinge that acts as a touchpad for the included stylus and also a keyboard. The “halo keyboard” relies on touch, but does also bring haptic feedback to provide a more realistic typing experience.

Running on the Yoga Book you’ll find Android Marshmallow with Lenovo’s custom “Book UI” which allows the tablet to better take advantage of the tablet’s unique form factor. Powering the device is Intel’s Atom x5 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Lenovo also claims 13 hours of battery life from the 8,500 mAh battery.

Both the Gunmetal Grey and Champange Gold variants of the Yoga Book are available for pre-order for $499. If you would prefer the Windows 10 variant, that is also available for pre-order today at a slightly higher $549. As previously mentioned shipping starts on October 17th for all models.
