Google’s new Pixel and Pixel XL go up for pre-order in India

Ahead of the October 20th release date, pre-orders for Google’s new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones have opened up in India through online retailer Flipkart.

The smaller 5-inch Pixel is listed on Flipkart each in its 32GB and 128GB variants. For now, it seems like the “Quite Black” model is the only one available. Meanwhile, the Pixel XL is currently limited to the 128GB model in “Quite Black.” The “Very Silver” will be available by the end of the day.

Pricing for these devices starts at INR 57,000 (~$850) for the 32GB Pixel, INR 66,000 (~$987) for the 128GB Pixel, and INR 76,000 (~$1,136) for the 128GB Pixel XL.

Luckily, Flipkart is currently offering a trade-in deal which can discount the price by up to INR 27,000 (~$404). Better yet, the first 1,000 customers will be able to score a 10% discount voucher.

Over the coming days, the Pixel and Pixel XL will also be debuting at multiple other local retailers including Reliance Digital, Croma, Bajaj Electronics, and 5 others.
