This is the upcoming Samsung Chromebook Pro, apparently coming soon for $499

Well, this one certainly came out of nowhere. Thanks to the eagle-eyed team at ChromeUnboxed, we’ve just got our first early look at a new Chromebook, the Samsung Chromebook Pro, before its official announcement.

The Samsung Chromebook Pro, also known as the long-rumored “Kevin,” has leaked out through multiple retailers, and this one is pretty impressive, to say the least.

Coming in with a price tag of $499, the Chromebook Pro brings a 12.3-inch touchscreen display on a 360-degree hinge, a hexacore processor clocked at 2GHz, 32GB of storage, 4GB of RAM, but that’s not even the impressive part.

The Chromebook Pro brings a stunning design with minimal bezels, presumably an all-aluminum build (although that’s not confirmed), and a stylus. That’s right, a stylus. That’s certainly a first for a Chromebook, but it makes sense with Android apps likely available out of the box on this machine.

The device is currently listed on Adorama for pre-order and previous appeared on B&H, but has since been pulled. That listing did reveal a potential shipping date of October 24th, and if that is to be believed, we should be hearing a lot more about this Chromebook in the next week or so.
