Google confirms the ‘Really Blue’ variant of the Pixel will be restocked

Within hours of going up for pre-order, the Really Blue color variant of the Google Pixel sold out, but fear not as the color is coming back sooner rather than later. After some had heard that Google wasn’t planning to restock the Really Blue color, Android Police reached out to Google to confirm the validity of those rumors…

According to a Google spokesperson speaking to the news site, the company plans to restock the Really Blue color of the phone. Google also urged interested buyers to use the Play Store’s waitlist functionality to be notified when more stock of the color becomes available. While this isn’t necessarily a surefire way to guarantee yourself a Really Blue Pixel, it will certainly help your case.

While the Really Blue Google Pixel is technically a “limited edition” model, this news means that the phone is here to stay for at least a little while longer, but it’s still unclear as to when the phone will sellout for good. The Really Blue color is also exclusive to the United States for now, but that is likely to change as time progresses.

Were you able to get your order in for a Really Blue Google Pixel? Let us know in the comments. Also let us know if you’re able to secure one at some point down the line using the wait list functionality on the Play Store.
