Android Basics: How to enable gestures on the OnePlus 3 and 3T

While OEMs like LG allow you to double-tap on their device’s screens to unlock them, OnePlus has built in functionality to launch and control different features on their phones…

Some of the features that OnePlus allows you to enable is the ability to double tap to take the phone, open the camera, turn on or off the flashlight, and even control the music being played. Just keep in mind that sometimes these can be triggered accidentally in your pocket.

How to turn on or off gestures:

  1. Go to the Settings menu
  2. Scroll down to the Gestures option under the Personal heading
  3. Toggle on the option for gestures and check each gesture that you would like to enable
