With the debut of Google’s latest application, Trusted Contacts, users can now share their exact GPS coordinates with friends and family members in case they are ever in danger or need assistance. Thankfully, once the application has been configured properly, there is a quick and easy way to send out an alert with your location to all of your trusted contacts…
How to send an alert:
- Open the Trusted Contacts application
- Make sure you have at least one trusted contact configured
- Tap on the orange floating action button with the GPS icon on it found near the top right side of the display
- Select the Share Now button. This will immediately send your location to every trusted contact currently enabled through the application
