Google’s silicone Pixel, Pixel XL cases are now available in Blue, Green, Peach, & Coral for $35

While the extremely customizable Live Case gets the main billing in advertising for the Pixel and Pixel XL, Google also sells a microfiber-lined silicone case. Only available in Grey at launch, the $35 case is now available in multiple bright colors.

Unlike Live Cases, the Pixel Case by Google also covers the top of the device, as well as the power and volume buttons. The bottom is unfortunately still exposed, though the case does extend around the corners providing some clearance when vertical. A noticeable lip provides a decent gap when the phone is turned upside down on a surface.

The cases have a polycarbonate core and a white microfiber interior — regardless of color — labeled with “Case by Google” towards the bottom. On the other side, there is simple an indented ‘G’ located in the exact same location as the phone.

The silicone exterior comes in Grey, Blue, Green, Peach, or Coral (barely passing for red). For comparison, early reviews tout the silicone as having a decent grip, but “not as much as Apple’s version.”

Unlike other models on the store, both Pixel and Pixel XL cases cost $35, with all variants shipping immediately. All purchases made by December 25th on the Google Store can be returned through January 22 of next year, with orders by December 20th guaranteed for pre-Christmas Eve delivery.
