NBA VR arrives on Google Daydream with an original ‘House of Legends’ VR series [Video]

The NBA has launched an official VR application for Google Daydream. Within the virtual experience, you will be able to watch highlights from games as well as enjoy a brand new VR series called “House of Legends.”

The NBA’s first VR series will place you in your very own virtual sports lounge where you’ll be able to watch NBA legends discuss everything from their greatest sports moments to pop culture in today’s society. The first episode of House of Legends includes seven-time NBA Champion Robert Horry with new episodes arriving regularly.

In its announcement post, Google also highlights three other VR applications that you should check out if you’re into sports. These include NFL VR, MLB.com Home Run Derby VR, and NextVR. With the NFL VR and NextVR applications, you’ll be able to watch behind-the-scenes footage as well as live event coverage from the NBA, Kentucky Derby, and more. With the Home Run Derby VR app, you will be able to experience eight different ballparks as well as virtually hit home runs with the Daydream controller.

You can download NBA VR for free from the Google Play Store.
