Last night, a Redditor from Toronto posted a claim that his brand new Pixel 3 XL overheated while on the charger, before it finally released “smoke, started to glow red, and spewed flames.” Some circumstances leading up to this issue, including potential charger misuse, may have been the culprit.

DxOMark has been testing smartphone cameras for a while now, but has just introduced scoring for front-facing selfie cameras. The Google Pixel 3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 have hit the top of the very first selfie leaderboard with a score of 92 respectively. The iPhone XS Max sits much lower with an overall ‘Selfie Score’ of 82.

Samsung Gear S3, Gear Sport update includes Health, UI, app, and other improvments

Despite having newer hardware available, Samsung hasn’t given up support on its Gear S3 family. Today, a new update is rolling out to the Gear S3 and the Gear Sport with a substantial number of app and interface improvements.

One of the most exciting smartphone releases of each year is that of Samsung’s Galaxy S flagship. For its 10th anniversary, we’re expecting a lot from the Galaxy S10 and now, some new renders and details have leaked out.
