It’s not at all uncommon for Google to sneak some tricks into its various products, we’ve seen the company do so numerous times over the years. Now Google has added a new one to Android.com, accessible anytime you get a 404 Page Not Found error.
Any time you try to access a non-existent page on Android’s official website, android.com/9to5google for instance, you’ll be greeted with a 404 error. From here the site will try to guess where you might have been heading and provide a proper URL, or it’ll let you play a game. It even works on mobile devices (in landscape orientation).
This new game is simple, adorable, and dangerously addicting once you get into it. At the start of the game, two Androids will launch donuts, marshmallows, and jelly beans into a “room” full of pipes. The objective is to use those pipes to direct the treats into designated exits. The more you get right the longer you go, but after 5 failed attempts you’ll be done. So far my high score is about 325. Apparently, once you get past 400, things turn into a disco party, but I haven’t managed to get that far quite yet.
