Fossil has been one of the biggest names in Wear OS for a few years now.  We were especially happy with the brand's Gen 5 lineup last year, but with a Wear OS revamp on the horizon, it's time for something new.

The next generation just leaked An early listing on Amazon in Germany revealed the Fossil Gen 6 lineup in detail. Not only do we get to see a new design, but some of the specs too.

Bigger bezels? The new design Fossil has gone with looks a little chunkier in these early renders, but the bigger concern is that the bezels around the display seem to be a bit thicker.

There is one great hardware change, though The best change to the hardware is definitely the charging rings. This is surely in response to many user complaints where the rings would fall off on older generations.

Performance gets a big upgrade

More importantly, though, is what's under the hood. The leaked listings confirm that Fossil Gen 6 will be the first smartwatches to use the Snapdragon Wear 4100+

The use of the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ is a big deal because it means performance will be much faster. Wear OS watches are notorious for laggy apps. Plus, it means Gen 6 will be able to run the new Wear OS 3 revamp.
