The Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ are out, and there doesn't seem to be a huge leap from one generation to another. While there are a couple of technological advancements, the S22 and S22+ seem to just be iterating on Galaxy S21 devices.
The design looks extremely similar to the S21, coming right down to the camera array on the rear. The back panel is made out of glass while, internally, recycled fishing nets are used to make some components. Good for you, Samsung.
The S22 and S22+ come in several different colors, which pop a little bit better than the colors available in the S21 line. The new devices come in Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, and Pink.
Comparatively, the S22 is smaller than the S21 by 0.1". The S22+, which is the big brother to the S22, also comes in at 0.1" smaller than its predecessor. The S22 and S22+ are 6.1" and 6.6", respectively.
Both phones rock the same internal specs, which include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the US and certain countries, while other regions may see an Exynos 2200. RAM comes in at 8GB and storage capacity ranges from 128GB to 256GB.
Both phones also come with a 50MP rear sensor and 12MP ultrawide camera for a good amount of versatility. Additionally, a 10MP telephoto and 10MP selfie camera are included as well.
