Google Messages tests letting users react with just about any emoji

By Andrew Romero & Abner Li

Most of us would rather use a reaction rather than typing out a reply. For some time now, Google Messages has made that posible.

Doing so would allow you to react with any of seven emojis.

You could choose between Thumbs up/down, Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes, Face with Tears of Joy, Face with Open Mouth, Crying Face, and Angry Face.

Now, Google is testing a feature that allows users to choose any of their favorite emojis to react with.

All you have to do is long-tap on a message to react as normal and tap the emoji with a plus icon.

That will open an emoji panel where you can choose any emoji you want. Simple!

With the expansion into RCS, Google Messages is getting better and better. With new limitless emoji reactions, Messages takes a step forward even further. Check out more new at 9to5Google by swiping up on this page!
