Samsung’s Rose Gold and Platinum Gear S2 Classic are available tomorrow for $449

Announced at this year’s CES, the Rose Gold and Platinum variants of the Samsung Gear S2 Classic will be available for purchase in the US on February 12th. At $449, users are only getting a watch that has a rose gold or platinum finish along with an accompanying leather band.

Specifically, the 18k Rose Gold model features a rose gold finish and is paired with an ivory leather band, while the Platinum edition comes with a black leather band. The new models carry a $100 premium over the current Classic model which has a black metal finish and matching leather band.

Otherwise, the watches have the exact same specs as the cheapest $299 model. It has a 1.2-inch circular super AMOLED display with 302PPI, a dual-core 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. It’s 250mAh battery is rated for two days and the device is IP68 dust and water resistant. At CES, Samsung also announced Samsung Pay and iOS compatibility will be coming in a future update.

Both watches cost $449 and will be available to purchase from Samsung’s website, Best Buy, Amazon, Macy’s, and other stores.
