The sensors also have the ability to begin automation on other devices if a water leak is detected, depending on your needs.
The Water Leak Sensors are equipped with IP67 water and dust resistance, which is necessary yet comforting. It essentially means they’ll continue to work well after they’ve been doused with water.
Aqara brings other sensors to smart homes, as well. For example, the company makes door and window sensors alongside temperature and humidity sensors. Together, they give the homeowner a little more security in knowing that the home is in working order.
