AT&T dishing out $100 credits with new service line activations

AT&T announced a new promotion today that will give new and existing customers a $100 bill credit when they activate a new line of service for a smartphone through the carrier’s Next purchase program. The offer is available from now until September 30th and the account must remain in good standing to receive the service credit within three billing cycles.

Not sure what AT&T Next is? It’s Ma Bell’s no money down financing option that lets customers buy a smartphone through a 2o or 24 month payment plan. If you’re planning on purchasing a phone through AT&T’s Next program, then this new offer is an added bonus, however if the thought of financing a device rubs you the wrong way, you’ll probably want to stick with a traditional service contract, or buy your next smartphone outright.
