It seems like Google is always playing with its search interface both on desktop and mobile, and today one eagle-eyed Alex Chitu spotted another addition on mobile: search suggestions when searching for recipes. The feature lets you refine searches for a food you might want to make…
A normal search for a food — in this case avocado mayo — you might want to make will still show the carousel of recipes from a variety of reliable cooking sites, but now you can even further refine your search with just a single tap. Once you have tapped one of the keywords, the search page turns into an infinitely scrollable list of relevant recipes with bigger images and longer descriptions.
This new display of recipe search results can also be triggered by tapping on “View All” at the top-right of the recipe carousel.
