The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is notoriously expensive. At $1,900 it’s recommended to find a good deal, even though it’s a great phone. Right now, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is on sale from Samsung at only $1,149 – cheaper than Amazon during Prime Day – but there is a catch.
A few days ago, Samsung began running a small deal on its Online Exclusive colors. The “Crafted Black” and “White” variants were both much cheaper than the generic colors that can be found at any storefront selling the phone. Now, those deals have been enhanced, alongside new deals for the basic colorways.
Currently, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is down to $1,149 when you buy the 256GB model in Crafted Black. Every other color available is down to $1,449 – still an okay deal. The 512GB version, however, is down to $1,269 in both Crafted Black and White, while the basic colorways are a mere $450 off instead of $750 off.
These are genuinely good deals. Any time you can get $750 off of a new foldable, you’re veering into decent territory. However, the catch with these deals is that they can not be combined with trade-ins. That essentially means you can either trade a device in or you can opt-in for $750 off – your call.
Now, in general, it might be a good idea to opt for the $750 off of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 if you know you can sell your old device for more. There are variables with that path, so if you aren’t sure how much you can get for your old phone and Samsung is offering over $750, that might be the right call for you. By taking the instant savings deal, you’re freeing yourself up to still sell your old device, resulting in possibly more savings.
Digression aside, Samsung’s instant savings deal on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 beats Amazon during Prime Day. Amazon is offering the Galaxy Z Fold 6 for $1,399 at minimum. Samsung’s offer is $250 cheaper.
