The hype train for OnePlus 13 has officially begun in China, with the full design being revealed. Perhaps the most exciting bit, though, is the arrival of a flat display on OnePlus 13 as revealed in a promo video.
Ahead of its upcoming launch in China, the OnePlus 13 has been revealed to have an updated design in some big ways. The back of the phone has a new textured finish, a nice metal accent, and flat metal side rails.
OnePlus 13 also has a flat display.
Following years of OnePlus going all-in on curved glass for its display, the OnePlus 13 is now set to feature a flat display panel. The flat display is prominently shown in a teaser video shared on Weibo. There are still some curves along the very edge, but they’re much smaller and closer to what most other modern flagships are using.

I certainly won't miss curved displays - I was never a fan.
It’s a welcome change functionally, as curved edges tend to reflect more light and impact how screen protectors can be used.
The OnePlus 13 will be unveiled on October 31 in China, and should see a global launch in the coming months.
What do you think about the change?
