After launching in the US this May and six more countries in August, Google Search is bringing AI Overviews to more than 100 countries and territories worldwide.
As part of this “largest expansion yet,” there’s expanded language support. You can now get AI Overviews in any of the currently supported languages wherever you are.
So, for example, if you’re in the United States and you speak Spanish, you can now see AI Overviews in your preferred language.
Google expects AI Overviews to have “more than 1 billion global users every month” with this launch. The company continues to say that feedback to AI Overviews is “highly positive” and that “people prefer using Search with AI Overviews.” Google also points to the more prominent link design with favicons, as well as inline URLs, in AI Overviews as driving an “increase in traffic to supporting websites.”
