Ahead of the global launch of the Oppo Find X8 series, it’s been revealed that Oppo will be gaining support for Google’s Circle to Search feature.
Oppo is set to reveal its latest global flagships, the Find X8 series, tomorrow on November 21. The launch will be Oppo’s first X-series launch outside of China in a few years, and it’s shaping up to be a promising release.
With a new device also comes new software, with Oppo set to launch ColorOS 15 on the Find X8. Based on Android 15, that update will be expanding to other devices over the coming months, and it will also include a handy new feature.
Oppo is the next Android brand picking up support for Circle to Search, a Google feature that debuted on Samsung Galaxy and Pixel devices earlier this year and has since been expanding to more devices from Xiaomi, Honor, Motorola, and more. Most recently, the OnePlus 12 picked up the feature as a part of its Android 15 update. It’s unclear at this time which Oppo devices will get Circle to Search outside of the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro.
The ColorOS 15 update also delivers new AI features, several of which are powered by Google Gemini models.
